Reset password

In this article, we explain how to reset a password for yourself, on behalf of another user, and after migrating to Access Evo.

Passwords are essential for securing user accounts. Depending on your organisation’s setup and whether your account has migrated to Access Evo, there are different ways to reset a password.

Reset your own password

To reset your own password, follow these steps:

  1. Click Admin, then click Change Password.

  2. Enter your current password.

  3. Type the new password.

  4. Confirm the new password.

  5. Click OK.


Reset another user's password

To reset a password for another user, follow these steps:

⚠️ Important: To follow these steps you must have the role of Administrator, Manager, Deputy Manager or Supervisor.

  1. On the Home screen, click Admin.

  2. Click Users, then select the user from the list.

  3. Enter the new password.

  4. Re-enter the new password.

    🤓 Tip: To require the user to reset their password on next login, click Require Password Reset.

  5. Click Save.


Reset passwords after migration to Access Evo

After migration, email users must reset their own passwords using the Forgotten Password link on the Access Evo login page.

To reset a password for another user after migration, follow these steps:

⚠️ Important: To follow these steps you need Administrator permissions.

  1. Log in to Access Evo.

  2. Click Members Menu.

  3. Find the user, then click the three-dot menu.

  4. Click Reset Password.

  5. Enter the new password.

  6. Click OK.
