Unable to remove suspension on a medication

In this article, we explain how to remove a suspension from a medication when the standard process does not work.

Sometimes, the system may not allow you to remove a suspension from a medication using the usual method.

To force the suspension to be removed, follow these steps:

  1. Click Residents/Orders.

  2. Click on the resident's name.

  3. Click Orders, then click on the suspended medication.

  4. Click Suspended.

  5. In the Suspend Order(s) box, click Delete.

  6. When the Delete Suspension prompt appears, click Yes.
