Restriction on approving or rejecting orders

In this article, we explain why you may not be able to approve or reject medication orders and how to check user role permissions to resolve the issue.

If you’re unable to approve or reject a new medication order, there are two common reasons:

  • You created the order: Orders must be approved or rejected by another authorised person to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Your user role has restrictions: Permissions may prevent you from performing this action.

To check and confirm role permissions, follow these steps:

  1. Click Admin, then click User Roles.

  2. Click on the Role assigned to the user.

  3. Click General, then click on the user’s name.

  4. Click Permissions to view the built-in role permissions.

    📌 Note: Built-in roles shouldn't be edited.
