Sliding scale allows you to adjust medication doses based on specific vitals, such as blood sugar levels. This feature ensures accurate and personalised care for residents.
To enable sliding scale for a medication, follow these steps:
Click Residents/Orders.
Click on the affected resident.
Click on the medication, then select the Sliding Scale checkbox.
Select the Record checkbox.
In the drop-down options that appear, select the specific vitals as needed.
Next to Sliding Scale, click the calculator icon.
Populate the data accordingly, then click OK.
Click Save.
