MedAssure offline information

In this article, we explain how to check your offline status, view detailed information, troubleshoot issues using built-in tools and offline details window functionality available.

MedAssure provides an offline mode to ensure continuity when internet connectivity is interrupted.

Check offline status

At any time, you can check your status by hovering your cursor over the Offline status window. Follow the steps:

  1. Move your cursor to the status window and leave it idle for a second.

  2. A balloon status window appears, showing:

    1. Your online or offline status.

    2. The last update time.

    3. The number of transactions waiting to sync with the Access Medication Management data server.

  3. To see more details, click View Details.


Offline details window

The offline details window provides tools for diagnosing and fixing connectivity issues. It includes two main tabs:

1. Find Problem

The Find Problem tab helps identify the root cause of connectivity issues. Follow the steps:

  1. Click Find Problem to run diagnostics on:

    1. Your computer.

    2. Internet connection.

    3. Access Medication Management database.

  2. The tool will suggest fixes and provide direct links to resolve issues.

2. Details Tab

The Details tab offers several functions to manage and repair offline data. Check out our handy table for more information:

Sync now

Resyncs data, updating only changes since the last sync.

Cancel sync

Stops the current sync operation.

Reinitialize

Uploads pending changes and downloads a fresh copy of all data.

Reset

Saves pending changes locally, then downloads a fresh copy, ignoring remaining pending changes.

Shrink database

Cleans up the local MedAssure database.

⚠️ Important: Use only when directed by support for troubleshooting.

Open folder

Opens the folder containing offline data files for troubleshooting.

Upload files

Sends selected files to the central server for review by the support team.
