Sometimes you may need to update the end date of an order manually. For example, you might have a PRN order that you haven’t repeated because there’s enough stock for the next cycle. When a team member changes the end date manually, the end date and time will appear in a yellow box. This highlights that a manual change has been made.

To manually override an order's end date, follow these steps:

⚠️ Important: If you make a manual change to the end date, any future data sent by your pharmacy won't automatically update this field.

  1. Click Residents/Orders.

  2. Click on the resident whose order you want to update.

  3. Click Orders, then click on the medication order you need to change.

  4. In the End Date field, enter a new date manually.

  5. Click Save.

    • The end date and time appear in a yellow box, showing that a manual change was made.
