The resident cycle changeover feature helps manage the monthly review of medication data received from the pharmacy. It allows you to view current and future cycle data side by side, making it easier to review and update medication orders. From this screen, you can merge, extend, approve, or discontinue medication orders as needed.
Locate resident cycle changeover
To locate the resident cycle changeover, follow these steps:
Click Residents.
Click Resident Cycle Changeover.
Select a resident from the left.
Medication information shows in two columns, relevant to the selected resident:
Current Cycle Medications: Shows medications in the current cycle.
Next Cycle Medications: Shows medications scheduled for the next cycle, including the start date.
Understand medication indicators
Dependant on which column the medication shows in, is indicative of when they are due to start, stop and continue.

Current Cycle Medications | Medication that appears only in this column indicates that it's set to expire at the end of the cycle, highlighted by a yellow arrow. |
Next Cycle Medications | Medication that appears only in this column indicates that it's set to start at the beginning of the next cycle, highlighted by a green arrow. |
Both columns | Medication that appears in both columns indicates that it's set to continue from the current cycle into the next, highlighted by two grey arrows. |
