Overview

We are pleased to introduce Access Medication Management (AMM) version 6.5.0.24. This targeted release addresses a critical authentication issue reported by care providers using offline functionality. It ensures that users can successfully re-authenticate using their PIN when the application is locked during offline operations. This change is vital for maintaining uninterrupted access to medication rounds, particularly in environments where MedAssure is enabled and connectivity may be intermittent.

Bug fixes

  • Offline PIN authentication fix: Previously, when AMM was locked during offline mode (with MedAssure enabled), users were unable to re-login using their PIN, receiving authentication errors instead. This authentication flow has now been corrected, ensuring that clinicians can successfully unlock the application and continue with medication administration during periods of offline operation. This fix is essential for maintaining workflow continuity during medication rounds when internet connectivity is unavailable.
